Can I split an order across several designs?
Share the quantity for each artwork, size and material specification. Digital printing can suit several smaller runs. Rotogravure normally starts from 10,000 bags; the design split, minimum quantity and any shared-cylinder arrangement are assessed against the actual artwork.
Is a 250g pouch the same as a 1/2 lb pouch?
Not exactly: 1/2 lb is about 227g, 12 oz is about 340g, and 1 lb is about 454g. Capacity labels are guides. Check width × height × gusset and test-fill with your own coffee.
Can I use the same bag for beans and ground coffee?
Tell us whether you pack whole beans or ground coffee and the intended fill weight. The space required can differ. We assess the pouch dimensions and recommend checking the fit with your actual product.
Which material and thickness should I request?
Send your existing bag specification or describe your packaging needs. Confirm the material layers, surface finish and thickness before quoting. State whether a thickness refers to one wall or both walls; these measurements are not interchangeable.
Are the zipper and one-way valve included?
Check the selected model and valve option. A valve price and a no-valve price are different. For custom bags, specify both the zipper and one-way degassing valve so the quotation covers the required construction.
Can I choose the pouch colour?
Yes. Select from the colours listed for that stock style. Availability is confirmed for your chosen size and valve option. Pouch colour and foil colour are separate choices.
Can I put product information on the back?
Yes. Alongside your front logo, the back can carry company details, coffee information or brewing instructions. Send the final text and preferred foil colour. Print area, placement, text size and any extra stamping passes require artwork review.
Why use digital printing for a smaller order?
Digital printing does not require engraved printing cylinders, making it practical for smaller runs and several designs. Rotogravure needs cylinder preparation, machine setup and colour adjustment even for a short run. Confirm the bag material and construction separately for either method.
What artwork do you need?
Send your logo or design file, the final front and back wording, the number of designs and the quantity for each. Include an existing dieline if available. We review the print area and specification before confirming the production artwork.
What information makes a quotation accurate?
Provide the bag style, dimensions, material, thickness, finish, zipper and valve requirements, quantity per design, artwork and any special requirements. If some details are undecided, send a reference and we can assess suitable options.
Are cylinder and setup charges included?
Ask for product price, cylinder or setup charges, sampling and freight to be listed separately. Digital printing does not use engraved cylinders. For rotogravure, any shared-cylinder arrangement must be assessed against the actual designs.
How long will production and delivery take?
Timing depends on stock availability, printing method, artwork approval, quantity and destination. Confirm the production or dispatch lead time and the transit estimate separately for your order.
What quality and after-sales terms should I confirm?
Agree on the material, dimensions, print appearance, zipper, valve and packing requirements before production. Keep the approved artwork or sample reference with the order. Confirm inspection, claim-handling and remedy terms in the order agreement.
